BOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT CONTRACT

1. PRICING & DURATION
Rental charges are based on blocks of time, with all rentals having a 4 hour time block minimum. Please indicate the rental duration and agreed price below:

2. DAMAGE LIABILITY

• The Renter agrees to be fully responsible for any and all damages to the boat, equipment, or any other property caused by Renter or Renter’s guests during the rental period. 
• The Renter assumes all liability and agrees to reimburse the Owner for the full cost of repairs or replacement.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

• 100% Refund: If cancellation is made 3 days or more before the rental start time.
• No Refund: If cancellation is made less than 3 days before the rental start time.
• No Refund for no shows
• No Refund or pro-rated amount for being late

4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
A 25% security deposit of the total rental price is required to confirm the reservation. This deposit:

• Goes toward the final rental price.
• Your reservation will NOT be reserved until the 25% security deposit AND signed contract are returned back to Lost Anchor.
• Must be paid in full before the reservation is officially confirmed.

If the security deposit is not received, the reservation will not be held.

5. FOOD & BEVERAGE POLICY
This is a BYOB and snacks charter. The following guidelines apply:

• No food or drink items that stain (e.g., red wine, berries, tomato-based sauces).
• All trash must be disposed of properly.
• No glass containers allowed.

6. SAFETY & CONDUCT

• The Renter and all guests must follow all safety instructions given by the Captain or crew.
• Life jackets are available for all passengers and must be worn when instructed.
• Disorderly conduct, intoxication, or illegal activities will result in immediate termination of the rental without refund.
• No shoes are allowed to be worn on the boat
• No Smoking is allowed on the boat

7. WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather (as determined by the Boat Owner/Captain), the Owner reserves the right to:

• Reschedule the charter for a later date
• Issue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

8. WAIVER & INDEMNITY
The Renter acknowledges the inherent risks associated with boating and assumes all responsibility for themselves and their guests. The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Boat Owner and crew from any liability, claims, or expenses arising from use of the boat.

9. SIGNATURES
By signing below, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to all terms and conditions stated in this Agreement.
